Special Features:

1. The Elite Private School was established in 1992 / 1993 for Grades KG I, KG II and G I. The next year was up to Grade 7. The school continues to add grades every year.
2. The Elite Private School is an English medium school geared to meet the needs of the multinational community of the U.A.E., through a highly academic international system of education.
3. The Elite Private School is set to provide schooling for students enrolled in the American High School Diploma.
4. The School is highly academically oriented without being highly selective. Its aim is to materialize the potential of its students and prepare them to become socially responsible citizens.
5. The school is international not only academically, but also as far as the staff and pupils are concerned.
6. The French language is given as a third language starting from Grade 2 to Grade 6.
7. Computer is taught from Grade I onwards.
8. All subjects are taught in English with the exceptation of Arabic and Islamic studies which follow the syllabus as per the Ministry of Education in the U.A.E

The School Stages:

The school has three stages:

1. The Kindergarten stage:

There are no academic requirements for acceptance into this stage. The child should be three years old by the beginning of September for K.G. 1 and four years old for K.G. 2.

2. Primary stage:

This consists of six classes, Grades 1 to 6. To enter Grade 1 a child should be five years old by the beginning of September.

3. The Secondary stage:

This consists of six classes, Grades 7 to 12. At the end of Grade 12 students may obtain the "High School Diploma" which permits them to enter the Freshman class, which is the first year of any American University. Before finishing G 12 students must take the test of TOEFI and SAT.

Administration

The Elite Private School is run by a Director, Deputy Head and Heads of Departments. They supervise the setting of the syllabus. The teachers teach the syllabus under the supervision of the Deputy Head and Heads of Departments. The Deputy Head follows the pupils progress and regularly reviews their status with the Director.

School Year:

The academic year has three terms each consisting of approximately eleven weeks, the last two of which are revision and examination weeks respectively. Each week has five school days; Sunday through Thursday. On Thursday the school is open from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the administration staff only.

School Day:

1. The school day stars at 8:00 a.m. for all classes. It finishes at 1:15 p.m. for the lower primary and at 2:30 p.m. for the upper primary and secondary classes. Students can enjoy two breaks during the school day.
2. Parents are expected to bring in their children at 7:45 a.m. and pick them up from the school premises on time.
3. Attendance is given great importance. Students who are absent for any length of time will require a valid excuse.
